Tomorrows Leaders Today-Looking beyond today

I have been involved in childrens church, youth, prison ministry and have been exposed to the fact that there is a lack of fathers willing to teach the young people the truth.

Today people are not interested in doing anything else but that which they grow up seeing in their families, neighborhoods and schools.We are living in an age where everything is instant and right at your door step meaning there is not much effort one puts in his life.

This a microwave generation willing to just be spoon fed and be comfortable and have evrything instantly with any much input.I have looked at our fathers and moaned because they are the reason most of the youth are in the state they are in this age.

But I looked in the scriptures and met with one young boy despite his father being evil he chose to be different.2 Kings 22 This young man turned neither to the right nor to the left but was focused .His main interest was doing what was right.He put his interest in the house of the lord The Josiah Generation will seek to raise up leaders that have;

1. Focus; 2Kings22:2
2. Love for Gods House; 2Kings22:4-6
3. A Hunger for the word of God
4. An Ear for the word of God; 2Kings22:11
5. A willingness to know more of God; 2Kings22:13
6. A tender heart toward the things of God; 2Kings22:19
